Wife Left Out Of The Blue
One day a man came home from work and discovered his wife had left him. This was totally out of the blue and completely unexpected. There was a note on the kitchen table telling him that after 15 years of marriage she had discovered somebody else and she was leaving him for the new person. She had cooked a load of meals for him and put them in the freezer and she had washed and ironed all of his clothes and given him the name of a lady that could come in and clean and do his washing etc.
We asked our client what it was he wanted us to do for him. He was in shock and could hardly get the words out. We calmed him down and got him to tell us every thing he could think of about the circumstance. He was not suspicious of her and one more person. He believed she was pleased and if she wasn’t he assumed she would tell him. His wife was a home wife and had not worked because they had been married. Our client was very old fashioned and did not want her to work. She had some pals that she would go shopping with and she belonged to the gym.
Our client said that he just wanted to talk to her to find out why she left. He didn’t have a clue where she could have gone and she even left her mobile phone behind. We asked his neighbours if they had observed her leave. A man had come to collect her in a red automobile and one with the neighbours had thankfully taken the car reg number. We created some enquiries and got a name and address. We went round there on behalf with the client and his wife was there. We told her that he was actually upset but just required to know why she had left. She agreed to call him and gave him the cause why she left.
